Product Reviews:
I Passed the PMP today thanks mostly to this book.
Rita's PMP Exam Prep book is all you need to pass the exam. But you need to know if backward and forward. Highlight and scribble all over this book as you go through it. I never read the tedious PMBOK guide, but instead went straight to this book to do my studying. The test questions at the end of the chapters are similar to what you would expect on the exam. I did also buy PM FASTrack:PMP Exam Simulation Software when I felt I was getting close to ready. The software isn't a must-have if you are on a tight budget - but it certainly will make your life easier. It is important to take a "real environment" simulated exam several times before the real day. This is because the PMP exam will take you the 4 full hours. You should be used to sitting and interacting with with a computer (and thinking hard) for at least that long. Good Luck to You! If I can do it, then you certainly should have no problem if you study hard.
  I hated this book
This was the book provided by the training class I took. I hated this book not because of the content, but because of the author's condescending attitude. I got tired of reading, "a great project manager would know..."

It's become the standard joke answer in our group when one of the PMs asks another PM a question. "Well, if you were a great project manager, you wouldn't have to ask that question."

Studying for the PMP is hard enough. I didn't need to be insulted on top of it. I've switched to Joseph Phillips "All In One" book, which also follows the PMBOK chapter for chapter. It has a supportive tone and comes with a CD that contains two unique and complete exams.

Just say no to Rita.
  PMP Exam Review guide
This book is really useful and the language is really simple. Tips are useful and exercises at the end of the chapter help develop confidence.
  It's good!
I think this book is pretty useful because it jogs your memory about all the concepts you have learnt about project management. I have not taken the exam yet but I feel that I will be more prepared for the PMP test because of the exercises in this book.
  Good buy
Book was delivered in brand new condition in 2 days. The book is a good refresher for the PMP examination.
