Product Reviews:
Keeps you from screwing something expensive up
As owner of RECON Mobile Auto Body and Paint Repair and a twenty year veteran I wanted to browse over techniques and styles of repair and restoration as we were developing the super premium repair and there is info in this book to save you thousands of dollars. Details are important and this will help you know what to look for as you inspect the details in your repair. Highly recommended.
Solid overview reference ( cashelbyron )
I've been messing around with body work for years as needs require. Self-taught skills are useful but I also like to pick up good references for better techniques and new products. This is a solid, up-to-date, overview reference on body work. If you have experience, it's something to refer to on an as-needed basis. If you're starting a restoration or trying to fix your own car to save money and have no experience, this is an excellent information source. It would also be good for reference if you're paying someone else because you can understand what they're doing. Little things like metal prep and correct sandpaper grits to choose can make a big difference in your results, both in terms of looks and durability.
