Product Description
As a traditional psychotherapist, Dr. Brian Weiss was astonished and skeptical when one of his patients began recalling past-life traumas that seemed to hold the key to her recurring nightmares and anxiety attacks. His skepticism was eroded, however, when she began to channel messages from the "space between lives," which contained remarkable revelations about Dr. Weiss' family and his dead son. Using past-life therapy, he was able to cure the patient and embark on a new, more meaningful phase of his own career.
Amazon.com Review
Psychiatry and metaphysics blend together in this fascinating book based on a true case history. Dr. Weiss, who was once firmly entrenched in a clinical approach to psychiatry, finds himself reluctantly drawn into past-life therapy when a hypnotized client suddenly reveals details of her previous lives. During one hypnosis session his client introduces the spirit guides who have been her soul therapists in between lives. This is when the story really takes off for Weiss, who discovers that these guides have specific messages about his dead son as well as Weiss's mission in life. No, we cannot verify the truth of this story using the limited scientific tools we have available. However, it is hard to dispute that this well-respected graduate of Columbia University and Yale Medical School has discovered a personal truth that has led him to be an enormously popular speaker, author, and leader in the field of past-life therapy. --Gail Hudson

Product Reviews:
The door opens ( okydocky )
It's a very interesting book. However I've been into reincarnation and searching for the spiritual meaning of life for so long I wonder why I bought this book. It's an excellent primer and if you're interested in the concept of reincarnation a great first to fifth book to read. And having been written by a psychiatrist, from Columbia no less, someone who was really never into past lives, it is even more exciting as it takes you along to his awakening as he is forced to drop his pre conditioning to admit that reincarnation is not only a possibility but according to his experience, a certainty.

  Many lives, many masters
This book was so good, I could not put it down. Reading the past life experiences that came forward when this person was under hypnosis was amazing.
  Many Lives Many Masters
Comments on Many Lives Many Masters by Brian Weiss MD. ; a conscious changing book ... Read by over a hundred million over the years, this is one of the most influental books of my life. Not religious nor political...an all time classic...quick, interesting reading...I couldn't give ANY BOOK a higher rating...
If you read one book about regression and reincarnation this should be it. ( marbile )
I've read litterly dozens of books on Reincarnation and past life regression. This book does is all. Coming from a scientist and doctor who are very sceptical about any mention of the words reincarnation and past lifes. This book opens the door to these subjects in a clear and non-threatening mannner. At the end you will not only want more but you will want to meet the subjects and the doctor mention in this book.

  Extremely interesting book
No matter what side of the fence you are on regarding past lives, reincarnation, etc., the book is extremely interesting. For anyone who has ever met someone and kept thinking they had met before or instantly hit it off, this is a great book to read. No matter what your beliefs are, it doesn't hurt to try to be a good person and treat other people well, a good universal message.
