Product Description
Jeffrey Yamaguchi extends an invitation to indulge one's inner artist by committing yourself to one creative project a week for 52 weeks. 52 Projects chronicles the author's artistic journey over the course of one year and how it changed his life-and also offers 52 jumping-off points for the reader's own creative inspiration:
- Frame a picture you've drawn, painted, or photographed-and hang it up in a public environment - Write the story of why you moved to the city in which you currently live - Ask your grandparents to tell you their stories-and document them - Create something while your laundry is washing and drying - Make the perfect margarita-and drink it - Send a friend a Chinese take-out menu and chopsticks - Stay up all night-and make the most of it

makes me happy ( hellokittygirl808 )
buy this book if you want to be inspired and want to make this world a better , kinder, happier place to live in. great projects for personal growth and deepening relationships with others and yourself. you will be overwhelmed with the fact that you can't do all 52 at one time! I've bought this books for several people as gifts, too...everyone loves it! buy it, and share the joy!

Fun/Great Stuff ( kforman7 )
This is full of really fun little projects. And if one project isn't exactly what you'd want to do, by using your own creativity, you can mold it to fit your own individual creative expression. I really loved this book!

Just okay for a project book... ( notblueatall )
I had bought "Wreck This Journal" first and sort of expected something similar...No dice! This was a dissapointment. While some ideas were good, others were nearly ridiculous! I would try to flip through before deciding to buy this one. Maybe it's just for non-creative types, because I'm always looking to start/finish a project and perhaps it's just not my style/speed. Buy it used! Great if you wanna plan something ahead of time for adults to do together!

Nice Book ( abi4182 )
I bought this book as a gift for my brother this Christmas and although I just peeked through it I found it to be a well designed, inspiring book. Most people live very busy lives and this book offers a great jumping of point to transform some of the mundane into art. That's pretty cool.

need to be inspired? this is the book for you.
i really enjoyed this book! so many different projects to check out! there are all sorts of ideas and creative tasks to complete. if you ever have a sort of "block" from creating, opening this book reassures the creator inside. it is a combination of art, poetry, drawing, photography, culinary and writing assignments (just a few to mention, heaps more inside) to keep your mind inspired. aside from all of the projects, along the edge of each paper are completely 'random acts' to inspire you. the book definitely "inspires your next creative endeavor."
